The President Calls Relatives of Shot National Guard Soldiers to White House

Former President Trump revealed on the weekend that he has asked the family of a Guard member killed last week to attend the White House.

He added that he contacted her parents and they were “heartbroken”.

The commander-in-chief stated he’s talked about a meeting at the presidential residence for the parents of both members of the West Virginia Guard.

“I stated: ‘When you’re ready, because that’s a hard experience, come to the White House. We’re going to recognize Sarah,” the president addressed reporters. “And likewise with Andrew, whether he recovers or not.”
